Around the World by Bicycle
In October 2013, I began my first around the world journey by bicycle at a time when cycling and long distance bicycle travel were far from common in Saudi Arabia. To many people, the idea seemed impossible and was often met with disbelief.
Over the course of four and a half years, I traveled through 38 countries and covered more than 30,000 kilometers, sharing the adventure through social media along the way. Alongside the founding of Darrajti with a group of friends, the journey helped promote cycling culture and encouraged more people to embrace the sport. What started as an unusual idea gradually gained wider acceptance and support within the community.
This journey was not only about crossing borders it was about discovering the world and proving that extraordinary dreams can begin with a single step.
